Maulidur Rasul
Assalamualaikum!
Maulidur Rasul is an annual festival during 12 Rabiulawal, where muslims all around the world celebrate the birth day of our Prophet Muhammad SAW. SEMESTA, of course, is not left behind in this tradition- holding it’s own festival within the school’s ground.
The students started off the day with the recitation of Yassin, along with some Yassin Water prepared for all students. For the past few days, the students had already prepared themselves for the Nasyid Competition, which is held between houses. Each houses presented their marvelous voices and talents, and were judged by a panel of juries, including an Ustaz from PDD Raub. He gave a wonderful talk to the students regarding Maulidur Rasul.
The results for the Nasyid Competition is as follows:
